About

C.S.E.  – Consultant Structural Engineering is a structural engineering consulting firm that works on building projects in the UK, Ireland and Germany.

The company was established in 1991 and has had a permanent presence in the Irish and UK market since 2006.

We have undertaken over 1500 projects ranging in size and complexity. From domestic alterations up to major developments across the commercial, retail, industrial and residential sectors.

Our commitment to engineering does not stop at the day to day delivery of the designs, however demanding the project may be. We’re aiming to deliver the best engineering to achieve ambitious, lean and sustainable solutions whilst delivering a cost-efficient structure which can be constructed safely.

Norbert Ellenberger, M.Eng., C.Eng., Dipl.-Ing. has overseen more than 1500 projects and offers more than 33 years of qualified consulting and structural design and engineering expertise. He is a chartered member of Engineers Ireland as well as the German Engineering Association and provides personal involvement in every project.

We are experienced in the design of traditional and contemporary structures using a diverse range of materials embracing established and modern methods of construction.

We also investigate and advise on structural defects within existing buildings and carry out design of remedial schemes. Our portfolio includes large and small projects across the residential, commercial, industrial and education sectors.
